I heard that Geraniums (which stink when you touch them!). They grow profusely in my garden in Cyprus. My husband calls them weeds!
Have also heard of sonic/electronic devices (from UK) that let out a high pitched noise, not heard by human ear that keep mice, rats & cats away - sounds good.....! |

Why don't you just get the hose out and spray them with water, they hate that and you're not really harming them.  |
