And the clevers appeared. But no luck, they grow up in a class and they know only the world

inside the class.

TOTIS MILIOTIS wrote:The term Nationality is nowadays equivalent with citizenship! What you probably do is to confuse it with the term ethnicity, just because ethnicity derived from the Greek word "ethnicotis!" The term nationality is arbitrarily translated in Greek as "ethnicotis!" The proper translation in Greek of the term "nationality" is "Ithagenia" or "ipikootis," and of Nation as "Kratos!"

Dear Kitheas,

Th problem here is that he pice pf paper in "boarders" is issued and publsished by Turks and not Greeks, therefore the meaning of thev word "NATIONALITY" is "ETHNIKOTHS".

TOTIS MILIOTIS, instead of seating in Athens writing "ampelosophies," or "arloumpes" as we say in Cyprus, why you don’t come over with your troops so that you give us a hand in kicking out those Turks "publishing" papers at the "boarders?"

Dear All,

calm down,

nobody here spoke about troops and war. I realised that some of you are still considering every Cypriot who insisting that he is a Greek as a facist .

Allow me to say that the discussion here is whether Cypriots are Greeks and Turks or simple Cypriots.

Your theory about a Cyprus Nationality is out of any question wrong and can not be justified by any historical or sientic base.

One of the main reasons of the Cyprus problem is the trial of various parties to change the roots of the population in Cyprus.

On basis we accept the real position that Cyprus population is consisted by 2 different Nationalities, two different religions and caltures we will be able to find a solution. States can not survive by changing historical facts and creating bastard human rase.

My question here is very simple -on what basis, on what language, on what religion, on what culture you consider the two populations as Cypriots- Finally what Cypriot is - came from where- what is their history - are their Arabs? Europeans? Cyprus nationality is a discovery of people outside Cyprus who unfortunately convisted some of you.

The attack to my position is noticed however instead you to react with no meaning replies is better to justify politly your position.

It is of course your right to feel as Cypriots in nationality but is also the right of the majority of Greeks of Cyprus to declare themselves as Greeks

firstly , i can as easily argue that all nations are constructs.

second , the purpose in a united cyprus , is to make people believe in a cypriot citizenship , believe that the institutions of cyprus represent them and protect their interests. nobody said that we should loose our greekness or turkishness. the same principle that works in all well-functioning multiethnic societies.

I call them super idiots

In line with your theory the 95 per cent of Greeks in Cyprus we are idiots.

It looks that you have to recheck your opinion to about who are the idiots and who are not.

Everywhere, in all countries there are small small minorities of ideas who demand to apply same to the popularity. Per your theory not even the Greeks of mainland Greece are Greeks- as you said they had been invated etc for hundreds of years
