My father was a Cypriot and my moms from NZ. I was born in Cyprus and went to private school and when I turned 18 I went to the UK for 5 years. I never really hung out with Greek Cypriot people. Anyway I came back to Cyprus and had to live there as an adult. I am shocked at their way of thinking and the behavior of many Greek Cypriot people, women and men. Don t get me wrong, I have met a rare few decent people but I just don t understand the behavior.

Basically I have had an administrator of my will for 6 years. He is a liar and a manipulator and he is lazy and he has all my inheritance hogged. A lot of people show the same traits. Other people have shown to be manipulative, hostile and tried to get the most out of you. Sort of like a blood sucking vampire. That s how they behave.

I came back from the UK having to deal with being ripped off, stolen by, lied to and threatened. I try to understand why they have no compassion for other people and they are so selfish too. I have to deal taking 1 person to court and the other taking my partner to court to squeeze him out of any penny they can get. I mean, they treat people like dirt! You re pushy coz they don t want to move and do their job, they speak to you like dirt. They treat foreigners in a degrading way, such as their own employees, like maids for example.

How do I deal with these sort of people, seriously now. I m at my wits end!

...you have stumbled into the drama of most families anywhere on the planet, when there is a diaspora connected to a family itself. (IMO)

and this malaise is no excuse for becoming a part of it, like them, you must continue to act in a loving manner with an open mind, and if you are fighting, listen carefully, new thinking as always will be required from both sides , it seems, to solve these problems; good luck.
