The documentary film ‘The Vanished Bus’, which narrates the story of 11 Turkish Cypriots who went missing after leaving Larnaca on a bus 43 years ago, will be screened in Iskele tonight at the start of a tour of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

The documentary film was written by the Presidential Undersecretary Rasit Pertev and directed by Fevzi Tanpinar.
The Vanished Bus will be screened at the Iskele Municipality’s Cultural Salon as from 7.30pm.

The film will then be shown in Gazimagusa, Girne, Guzelyurt and Lefkosa.

The 55 minute documentary will also be screened in foreign countries.

The Vanished Bus narrates the tragic story of Turkish Cypriots who went missing on the 13th of May 1964 on their way to work when the bus carrying them went missing after leaving from Larnaca.

The TRNC tour of the ‘The Vanished Bus’ documentary film which addresses a bitter incident of the past; a bus carrying a group of Turkish Cypriots to work went missing on the 13th of May 1964 after taking off from Larnaca, continues.

The third public display of the documentary will be held in LEFKE this evening.

Following LEFKE, the documentary will then be screened in Girne and Guzelyurt as well as in the foreign countries in the future.
