The 2nd Sand Sculpture Festival and Competition organized by the Eastern Mediterranean University will be held on May the 26th.
The festival and competition will take place at the EMU Beach Club.
According to the information obtained from the Eastern Mediterranean University, the main aim of the Sand Sculpture Festival and Competition is to create alternative activities to help promote the NC in the international arena by using its natural beauty as in other countries, as well as bring about a different dimension to the tourism in the country.
The event was organized jointly by the EMU Faculty of Architecture, the Faculty of Interior Architecture, the Fine Arts Club and the Gazimagusa Municipality.
Different activities will also be held during the one day festival.
People who wish to be competitors at the festival should apply with a group composed of 5 to 6 people until Wednesday, May the 23rd.
Winners will be presented a trophy.
