Hi everyone
I will be coming to Pafos on the 11th of July arriving at Pafos airport and staying at the Kings hotel on the Tomb of the kings road, I have been looking at taxi transfer prices online but dont know what the rate should roughly be, can anyone give me a rough guide as to the price, and would it be better to get a taxi on arrival?
Also any advise as to bars in Pafos where the locals drink
Thank you very much

Last time I was in Paphos I picked up a cab at the airport and payed 17CYP. Return (booked by my hotel) was 20CYP. That was to and from the harbour area, so I guess around 25-30CYP should cover it out to the Kings Hotel.

Hi

It'll be CYP£17 one way.
Advice - check with the taxi driver before you set off. They all follow a code now with set prices but a few years back, one tried to charge £50! it was late at night but luckily we knew what the price was supposed to be!

Unless you're arriving in the early hours when lots of the drivers will have gone home, you'll have no problem getting a taxi at the airport

As a guideline - I tend to use the information & rates provided by Acropolis Taxi company

http://www.acropolis-transport.com/rates.html

Brian, I wrote "25-30CYP should cover it out to the Kings Hotel", not "to the Kings Hotel and back", so I think most people will be fairly clear on what I mean. Smile
The price I suggested may be far too high, I only know that the rates I paid were to/from Paphos Gardens Hotel, which is nearer the airport than the Kings Hotel and that's why I suggested around 25CYP (one way Smile ).
However, looking at the Acropolis price list, the price I suggest seems about right - the airport to out(side) Paphos 22/26CYP (day/night).
