So was that an insult not so cunningly hidden?

America is a big place and there are many different kinds of people. Many Cypriots are also arrogant and ignorant but many are not!

Entertainment on holiday is part what you find because you openly see it,been told about or seen advertised or packaged and laid on for you like all Inclusive, thereafter its what you make of it yourself,if you do nothing, you get nothing, just like in life, you cant sit around and wait till things happen, you go for it and make them happen, and do you know what?, more doors open and open and open for you untill you feel happy with what you got back from the efort you put in and it doesnt take a lot of effort either.
Prices as i said before if you dont venture outside the main tourist bands you'll always pay more no matter what country you visit, the real Cyprus is actualy well hidden for an obvious reason, but once you find it all your dreams will come true and you'll never want to leave this beautiful Island !!!!!

That remark from Spetz was rude and ignorant. I've never been to America, yet every American that I have met have been polite, talkative and polite.

GG, look me up as well if and when you decide to come to Cyprus.

No it wasn't meant to be an insult
That's why I said stereotypical rather than stating that is my view

On that subject any ideas where my wife and I could take ourselves of to in a hire car for one or two nights when we visit in september , we would want to stay overnight as we like a good drink LOL . Have not noticed b&b`s or the like when I have been in Cyprus before . We wanted to do this after we got married in dherinia but could not get away from our familys .
