A very important day for Cyprus sports!

A very important day for Cyprus sports!

1. Baghdadis has just kicked out another major opponent in the Wimbledon grand slam, and is heading for the trophy.

2. Cypriot skeet champion George Achilleos is currently ranking first worldwide, the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) has announced.

It seems that Cyprus will have its first Olympic gold metal in next year's Beijing Olympics, therefore, for those TC hostage takers in the north, hurry up for a solution if you do not want to hear the Greek national anthem playing along the raising of the Cypriot flag in Beijing! 8)
