Hello,
I have some questions about walking in Cyprus.
a) We don't have a driver's license, so we would like to get to walks by
taxi.
Is it possible to get a taxi from Paphos to the Baths of Aphrodite in the
morning and to return with a taxi in the evening from the Baths of
Aphrodite to Paphos. Do we have to arrange these taxis or are there
always taxis available.
b) The same question as above, but from Paphos to Neo Chorio and back.
c) Where can we find walking descriptions and maps (on the internet) ?
Thanks and regards,
Brecht |

If you contact the Cyprus Tourist Office then they will send you out leaflets with routes etc.
You can contact them via their website on www.visitcyprus.org.cy
There are plenty of taxis in Paphos and the surrounding area but I suggest that you book your return trip from Baths of Aphrodite as there will not be taxi's hanging around there.

Hi there,
For suggested walks and descriptions etc try the following:
http://www.cyprus-travel-secrets.com/cyprus-walks.html
I would recommend you pre-book any taxi and take their number so a) you can agree a price in advance b) you know who to call if they don't turn up.
There's a good taxi firm based in Latchi called Nissos taxis (10 mins from Aph baths) tel 26322666. They will probably be cheaper than a Paphos one and only a few mins away if you have a problem with pick up at the end of the day.
Neo Chorio and the Akamas are beautiful - eat at our favourite restaurant in Neo Chorio - details on the foll site:
