EU can not act on any international political decision as one and never will, let alone establishing a unified army. The history, culture, interests and priorities among her members are strongly divergent. This has been magnificently displayed in the recent conflicts in Iraq and Bosnia where EU cracked open from the middle on how to proceed.

EU is nothing more than an economic alliance with some cultural perks on the side and it will stay that way - if all goes well...

But where are the Turkish Cypriot Troops?

But where are the Turkish Cypriot troops after all they should form part of the Cypriot army shouldn't they?

Unfortunately, the Turkish Cypriots have chosen to join a foreign enemy army (Turkey) and challenge their very own country which now bleeds with a saber right through her middle… :( Talk about taking treason to new heights…
