HI ALL,
GOING TO CROWN RESORT HORIZON IN CORAL BAY AFTER ATLANTICA OASIS IN LIMASSOL NOT READY.HAS ANYBODY GOT ANY INFO ON THE AREA, ENTERTAINEMENT, KARAOKE BARS ETC AND THIS HOTEL IF STAYED AT BEFORE MANY THANKS NELLSON, |

it is a few minutes walk from the sea and the Coral Bay 'strip' (shops and restauarnts, not a cabaret!), there are water sports and go karts nearby and a 5 minute drive will take you to Snake George (a reptile park) and the amazing paphos Bird Park; there is also horse riding nearby.
There is a regular bus service to Paphos.

Lana, do you have any idea of the address of both the snake park and the bird park. As I would like to visit them.
Are there any other places that you could recommend to visit?

If you are going from Paphos, you drive towards and past Coral bay, staying on the main road. After 8km you will see a petrol station on your right, the entrance to Snake George is IMMEDIATELY before the petrol station. It is only small but quite interesting; I saw two adders doing a ritual courting dance, when I was there.
The Paphos Bird Park is still further along, about another 5km past the petrol staion, again on the right. You will see a sign on the road.

Forgot to say, Gigi, there was a Donkey 'park' on the road to Kathikas form Peyia, but sadly the owner and his girlfriend were stabbed to death a few months ago and I am not sure if anyone has taken it over.
There are the usual entertainments here: go karts, hot air baloon rides, waterpark etc.

The donkey park is open and being run by the late owners brothers. |
