Buses and taxis

Postby leeandbec » Wed Aug 08, 2007 5:51 pm

Could anyone tell us how reliable and how expensive local transport is in Protaras? We are hoping to visit Ayia Napa and the waterpark is it possible to get a bus? How much do local taxis cost to get to Ayia Napa? Thanks for your help Lee and Bec

I did the same journey from Protaras to Ayia Napa last year with my cousin when on holiday. Dont even bother waiting for a bus, infact I dont think I saw one - get a taxi.

From Protaras to Ayia Napa town centre cost us about CY£8...when they found out we were Cypriot - it cost us about 5 or 6 lol.

As far as i know, the water park is a little way out from Napa on the other side of town.
