Looking for a piper

Postby Erin » Tue Aug 21, 2007 7:10 pm

My daughter is being married at the Olympic Lagoon Nissi Bay in September. I wondered if anyone could tell me if it is possible to find someone who can play the bagpipes, just to make her feel a little closer to home. Thanks

Erin, welcome to the forum, congratulations to your daughter and good luck in the future.

I cannot direct you to a specific piper but do know that there are several on the island, (Scottish that is), your name suggests that you are Irish, is this a fact?. :)

Erin, then I am sure you will have no difficulty, I will make enquiries on your behalf but do hope others on the forum may be more helpful than I initially. Best wishes. :)

I also need a Piper for a Cyprus Serviceman's Association charity event on 'Poppy Day'; normally it is not too much of a problem but many 'Pipers' are currently serving in Iraq and Aphganistan.
