BlueNoseDave wrote:Hi there, being new to the forum and with myself just about to once again return to Cyprus for a holiday, and always being up for a good night out, lets here from you all and list your 3 best nights out whilst holidaying in Paphos. I have always been in other areas of the island before so where should I head this time in Paphos, over to you, :) :?:

Head for Polis. Take a boat out from Latchi to Fontana and skinny dip :)

Hire a jeep and cruise through the forest behind Argaka, or better still hike. Much better than Ben Nevis

When I was a youngster we used to go to Ayios Neophitos Monastery with my family and stay the night, we used to love it.

I was in paphos in 2000 and absolutely hated the place, whats become of my little Paphos?

Depends what you want from Paphos. I personally find the bars that are full of young locals much more my taste. Try Mataximus at the far end of Bar Street. There are 2 or 3 bars there that resemble wine bars rather than the pubs on Bar Street full of drunk Brits. If you want loud music and cheap beer then there are plenty of pubs on Bar Street to go at but the best seems to be The Waterhole at the harbour end of Bar Street along with The Robin Hood and Zorros.
I'm going over to Paphos next week too with my boyfriend and 2 friends. Everyone we've taken seem to enjoy it but I must admit it is not as busy as I would like as more touists would give it a bit of atmosphere.

A forum that would suit you better to ask these questions is -

www.cyprusliving.netfirms.com/phpbb/nfphpbb/

This is Paphos based.

Best wishes

I've had some good nights in Paphos actually, not my cup of tea now though but had some fun in Boogies and Rainbow nightclub. This was around ten years ago and things have changed now.

My three choices would be:
1. Evening at Sunbow Restaurant near the Paphos Amathus, for a night of good fun and excellent food.

2. Visit Oasis at Coral Bay for Cypriot Food and Cypriot hospitality.

3. Go to Yeriskipou for an evening.
