Hi there, being new to the forum and with myself just about to once again return to Cyprus for a holiday, and always being up for a good night out, lets here from you all and list your 3 best nights out whilst holidaying in Paphos. I have always been in other areas of the island before so where should I head this time in Paphos, over to you, Smile Question

Have been to paphos once, sorry some of you might not like this but paphos is absolutley awful. I have never met so many arrogant people in my life. It almost put me off buying in cyprus.
luckily i was advised to have alook at the east side.
the paralimni area is fantastic.

I'm sorry, but I also have to agree with Paul here.......

We had many a happy holiday in Paphos and were considering moving there permanently until we came upon the proverbial whinging ex-pats there one night. However, I can't really say we've ever had a "great" night out whilst there. We started our planning in 1997 but changed our minds about Paphos in November 2000.

The whingers put us off completely so we changed tactics - and now live very happily in Limassol amongst all Cypriot people but also with a number of ex-pat friends, who luckily for us - are not whingers!

We've been to the Sixty's bar in Paphos on several occasions and also to the quiz at Alexanders pub but more often than not, ended up in the Robin Hood pub on bar street. We did find a really nice little cafe bar close to the Aliathon Village complex a number of years ago and had a pleasant evening there.

I have had this post on here for a few days now and thought there would have been more replys, surely there is more to Paphos than the doom and gloom on here, but I will have a look at the ones you mention Julieswell, after all a good night is what you make of it, and I have had a few in other parts of the island I can tell you. Still looking forword to returning in 10 days or so, at least the weather will be better, anyway, come on forum there must be more suggestions. Very Happy

BlueNoseDave, you ask for advice as to what you should head for in Pafos, I think the 'Road out of it' is your best bet.

Night 1 in Lemesos.

Night 2 in Larnaka.

Night 3 in Agia Napa.

For the rest of your holiday, daily trips up the mountains for a bit of fresh air mate.

Hope you enjoy your holiday and welcome to the forum, Best Wishes. Wink
