| Should the UK Sovereign Base Areas be removed from a United Republic of Cyprus? I think that it should be a prerequisite for solution of the Cyprus problem. |

dont you know that while there is conflict or unresolved problems in cyprus the british bases cannot be tauched, this is in the zuruch agreement. soo now we have an island thats devided into 4 we have the north turkey occupattion. we have the green line u n controled, we have the south greek controled and then we have the british bases that the british control.cypriots control fuck all they dont even have a say in theor own island this is the situation in cyprus and if you cannot see all this then houston we have a problem lol |

DEFINATELY A BIG YES!
A united Cyprus should be for Cypriots and Cypriots ONLY! We do not owe the British government anything and once theres a settlement and Turkey is gone then the WHOLE country should be liberated and handed to the Cypriots. |

Maybe I didn't make myself clear. Anyway, I meant that a United Republic of Cyprus should not have UK SBA. Do you agree or not? |

I agree with you. On the contrary though, the Annan plan secured the eternal presence of the UK SBA, the Greek Military Force, and the Turkish Military Force. If we all agree that every third party should be removed from a United and European Cyprus why are we given such unacceptable solutions plans by the UN?   |
