| Hi did you ever get your playstation 2? If not we have one in very good condition for sale. I have to check if it's chipped. We have a few games too. |

hi, i found some info here:
MESSIAH INSTRUCTIONS
V3 console
1) Playing Playstation games: insert the game and play
2) To play Playstation CDR, imports and silvers, power on the console, then press the reset button twice quickly (double press).
3) To play DVD films, press the reset button twice (double press) after power on to set the console to play back DVD films.
V4 console
1) To play Playstation 2 games, insert the game and play
2) To play Playstation CDR, imports & silvers, power on the console, then press the reset button twice quickly (double press).
3) If your DVD driver version is 2.10 or higher
(this can be checked by viewing the version information at the browser screen),
press the reset button twice (double press) after power-on.
V5 console
1) To play Playstation 2 games, insert the game and play
2) To play Playstation CDR, imports & silvers, power on the console, then press reset button twice quickly (double press).
3) To play DVD films, press the reset button twice (double press) after power on.
Please note:
To return to Playstation 2 mode from DVD or Playstation mode at anytime will require a hard-reset
(holding the reset button for more than a second).
HK MESSIAH2 INSTRUCTIONS:
Booting Instructions:
PS2 CD/CDr/DVD/DVD-r : Insert the disc and close tray. Hold reset to power off to standby mode. Let go of reset button. Tap reset button quickly, to start.
PSX CD/CDr and DVD movies: Insert the disc and hold reset for a few seconds to turn off the PS2 (standby). Turn the PS2 back on by holding reset until the blue light on the eject button lights up.
You should always turn the PS2 off (standby) for a few seconds before changing between modes (PSX, DVD, PS2 - copies and originals).
To turn the modchip off (to play PS1 games that may detect the modchip): Turn off the PS2 (go to standby) and hold reset for at least 5 full seconds. The next time you reset the PS2 the modchip will turn itself back on. |
