Anybody else watching the Eurobasket? Greece won Serbia 68-67 in the extra time a while ago. It was a very stressful game!

Yep, I`m watching almost every game.
Very tight game, based on strong, agressive defence. I`ve expected more from the greeks, since the Serbia is playing without few key players due to injuries.

Greece is also playing without Fotsis who is one of the key players. They lost from Russia yesterday. I think Russia and Lithuania are the strongest ones this year but I think Spain will be in the final for sure even if they lost with 1 point yesterday.

Hmmm... ok one key player, but the serbs are missing "only" Stojakovic, Krstic, Radmanovic, Drobnjak, Perovic, Rakocevic... ;)
Yep, Spain in final... with a little help from the referees as usual. :)
The suprise team of this tournament is surely Slovenia with lucky wins over Italy and France, but I think quarter finals is maximum for them.
Russia and Lithuania surely very strong, and lets not forget Germany with Nowitzky, and France who`s game depends mostly on how Tony Parker plays. If he is in the mood France can win every game.

Do you know why all those Serbian players were not playing? Were they injured? Tomorrow it will be Greece - Spain. If Greece manages to win that one then they can win the trophy. But they will have to improve a lot to win Spain in Madrid !!

Well these are my last informations:
Stojakovic (NewOrleans Hornets) - injured, heavy season in NBA, wanted to rest as well, plus he has some issues with other players.
Krstic (New Jersey Nets)- injured
Radmanovic (LA Lakers) - dumbass who is not invited because of his behaviour, doesn`t respect the coach, the team, other players. Even better.
Drobnjak (Partizan Belgrade) - didn`t want to play, said it`s time for young players to take his place. Smart move.
Perovic (Golden State Wariorrs) - injured
Rakocevic (TAU Ceramica) - don`t know
Pavlovic (Utah JAzz) - hard nba season didn`t want to play.
Cabarkapa (Golden State Warriors) - don`t know
Vujanic (Panathinaikos) - don`t know

So most of them just didn't want to play for the national team :( Greece is not good in this tournament. I doubt they will get very far :( I watched Germany - France and Lithuania - Italy today. Geramy is OK team but depends too much on Nowitzki. France is better and they seem to have several good players except from Parker. In the other game both teams played good. I liked more Italy but still Lithuania managed to win. If they managed to win in a day that they didn't play great then I think that only the hosts with a bit of help from the referees can take them out!!
