Hi
We have decided on Pissouri for our holidays next year and have found the Columbia BeachHotel and the Columbia Beach Resort.
Firstly, I'm not sure what the difference is between them and can't find any reviews for either of them. Their website map does not show where the hotel and resort are situated.
Has anyone stayed there? Are they both as good as each other? Or are there any other hotels around there?
The main aim of the holiday is to relax by the pool/beach, but we will be hiring a car to see some of the Isle.
Many thanks

Both are five star and right on the beach.
The hotel is, well a hotel while the rooms of the resort are more like American apartments.
The place has a great spa facility but is quite expensive. |

There are very nice. Stayed in the hotel and paid £10 for 2 G&T's - which is a little painful!! |

Thanks for the info. I'll just stick to water then!
Will it be very expensive to get a taxi to Limassol and/or Paphos for the evening? Any taxi numbers you can recommend?
Thanks in advance

4 G&T's, 2 espressos = £27 at Columbia Resort
but loved the resort, gorgeous get away, v expensive but excellent standards of room, service and relaxation. After the resort I went to the 5 star Hawaii Grand in Limassol, it seemed a 2 star in comparison. I think that's the difference, the columbia actually deserves it's stars |

| Pissouri is one place that has grown but improved at the same time. I visited last month and for those who remember Cyprus about twenty years ago I would say Pissouri has that welcoming atmosphere. A good selection of tavernas offering a wide choice of menus. Friday night is Cyprus Night in the bay and Wednesday in the village. I looked over the 5* hotel and it was heaven! Expensive but surely you expect that from a 5*, if a Company was paying I would love the chance to stay there, but on my low income the apartments near the beach looked very good value for money. |
