I beleive the following official English names have changed recently, often due to correcting translation from Greek to English (e.g. the ROC government apparently thinks that "G" represents "γ" (gamma) better than "Y).
Larnaca > Larnaka (what is Larnaka in Turkish?)
Nicosia > Lefkosia (Lefkoşa in Turkish)
Limmasol > Lemesos (Limasol in Turkish)
Famagusta > Ammochostos (Gazimağusa in Turkish)
Kyrenia > Keryneia (Girne in Turkish)
Paphos > Pafos (Baf in Turkish)
Ayia Napa > Agia Napa
Morphou > Morfou |
