I am just posting to see if there is anyone who is interested in Masters swimming. For those that don't know what it is. It is organized swimming, with a Coach setting, the swimming sets for different age groups and abilities. It is mainly for swimmers that have swum competitively, but not exclusively. There tends to be quite a wide ability level, all swimming in different lanes.
The reason I am posting this is my old Masters swimming coach is coming to live in Paphos, from mid Nov. hopefully we will have the club up and running by the new year. There are masters clubs in Limassol and Larnaca, so he hopes to start a club in Paphos.
This won't be a profit making club, charges will just cover the running costs and hire of the pool lanes, at a rough guess it will be less than £4.00 a session dependent on the numbers we get.
