You may have meant that but you did not say that.

Charming!

You made no mention of 'in the last few years'. My interpretation of your post was entirely reasonable - and consistent with your specific post and your general postings and attitude - in my opinion at least. You could have simply correct my misunderstanding and that would have been that. Instead you seem to prefer insults and (empty) threats. Your choice.

What an inflated sense of your own power you have. I _chose_ to withdraw from this forum for a period because I found your comments and attitudes odious. The decidion was mine as any such future decsion will also be mine. You have no power to make me do anything - though clearly your own ego is unable to comprehend this simple reality.

I just think that there are a lot of people on both sides that believe people listen but don't take all views into account. I think this belief (whether it's true or not) plays an important role in how they react to the requests on the parallel community.

I have GC friends. I consider some of the GC posters here friends as well. I find siginifcant numbers of them reasonable, logical, fair and sincere most of the time.

Then there is the small minority (some of which are not even Cypriot) that are none of these things imo. That so few can do so much damage at the expense of so many others is sadly almost a one line history of Cyprus.

you may be right realist, unfortunately we are not tollerant of each other maybe its the result of our history which has effected us all negatively. That why I still feel the best solution that will end all arguements is division.

The biggest issue the GC's face is the mistrust of Turkey. That is our biggest perceived problem, not the TC's. I think it would be very easy for us to work together with the TC's but when you have Turkey essentially controlling much of what goes on in the north (much of it behind the scenes I may add) then how can we move on? How can we build trust? Turkey needs to show us that we can trust her and she has to make a big concession towards us in order to show it. And before you say opening the gates, that was a concession to the TC's that were demonstrating rather than for us.
