I live in Larnaca but drive to Limassol every day for work. Every morning I used to see the same people going swimming at around 6.30am, even in December and January. It was the older generation but was wondering, are these people nuts or is there a reason as to why they go when so early in the morning, even if it is very very cold?

u know when i was in dubai in january it was cold for swimming - about +15....but we were swimming...cold for the begining! and last may i was swiming here in cyprus....cold too!
