Postby spenta » Mon Jan 14, 2008 2:15 pm

Paphos - 5*Capital Coast resort and spa any info
This new hotel/apartment is being advertised for Aug 08 and I wonder if anyone knows anything about it. As it is new am guessing it should be nice. As for location does anyone know where it is exactly? Any information would be appreciated.

Have a look at this site
http://www.lionresorts.com/news/latest/ ... --spa.html

It should be really nice when finished, overlooking the sea.

We were not happy with hotel or the Lion rep.
There is potential in the premises but management at present leave a lot to be desired. After asking to speak to the general manager we waited 10 days and had no joy.
Small things like bedside lamps are expected in a hotel in this bracket.
The refusal of the kitchen to make sandwiches , which were on the menu seemed odd.
The spa in October was still non functional. The indoor pool was not heated.

No we look for more at the price we were charged.

The Lion rep we had the first few days, Angie was I'm sure trained by the SAS.
This was all the more disappointing as in our 8 visits to Lion resorts the rep has been more than helpful.
We will not be back at Capital Coast.

That's a real shame. :( My friends stayed there for 2 weeks in September, apart from when they arrived they were put into a room overlooking the car park, they had been promised a sea view, there weren't any other problems.
They had a change of room the next day to a superior one with a beautiful view.
They also had a free breakfast for inconvenience. Apparently the food was really good.
The hotel itself has a loveley garden and right on the edge of the sea, although you can't really get to the sea at the moment, and Lisa the rep was more than helpful.
The spa, etc is still in the process of being finished. I think it still needs little finishing touches and after that should be a nice hotel.
Same as everywhere depends on the day and who you have representing you I guess.
I work over the road from Capital Coast and it always seems busy there.
If you would like a holiday villa/apartment instead of a hotel please get in touch, we have holiday properties for rental.
