Never done any safari trips, but believe me you are in for a bumpy ride!! Do not Scuba either but loads of places around the island do so you will not be disappointed!

I went on 2 jeep safaris when I went to the South - one up the Troodos mountains to visit the Mouflon and monasteries and one was beach based - both good fun - but chilly (I went in December) and very very bumpy!!! Had a huge lunch by a roaring log fire up in the troodos, I can really recommend it!!

You like bumpy??? Then dont worry one bit.
All roads are bumpy here.
Even highways sometimes
As for diving theres diving centers everywhere along the coast.
I suggest Protaras caves and Zinovia in Larnaca.

Well fat arse, for some things yes… but wouldn’t it be nice to discover some of the island when you get here rather than planning everything in advance? And why would you want to fly 2,000 miles from the UK and drink John Smiths?

Cyprus is a great place to learn to scuba as the water is warm and clear and there are no tides. Unfortunately, there isn’t a great deal of wildlife to see… The best dive on the island is undoubtedly the Zenobia at Larnaca but you have to be at least a Padi Advanced Diver or equivalent to do it…
