Not Alzheimer's Bubbles just oldtimers ~~ I can still find my way home but just I can't remember much when I get there .
Villa did invite me for a drink next time I was passing but he left before I could get round to it sadly.
Bill ~~~~~ confused in Cyprus |
Bill darling are you short-sighted too?
I ask as you have replied to me, yet it was WEBBO who asked the initial question?

OOPS !
I didn't look at the lack of signature at the bottom ~ silly me .
And yes I am bit shortsighted which causes problems with the fashion of guys wearing long hair ~ and was the subject of quite a few posts a few months ago
Bill ~~~ wondering how I ever manage to get home being so short sighted |

Beaches around Protaras and Larnaca are great BUT very crowded in peak season.
Go for some peace and quiet and see a different side of Cyprus on the WEST.
Polis Chrysochouse bay is shingle/sand but long, gorgeous and you can have your own private section of beach.
or head to the Akamas to lovely and sandy Lara bay - bit of an effort to get there but it's worth it and you can still find a quiet spot even in August!

| The quiet beaches in the west could just appeal to Ossen as all he seems to want to do is get his kit off. |

Speaking of getting kit off. I remember a day, and this was in August one year and many more years ago than I'd like to concede, when Governor's Beach was a lovely, quiet spot save for me and some scantily clad Scandinavian girls. Come to think of it, they weren't clad at all! Those were the days.
Now of course packed with sunbeds, umbrellas, restaurants etc. |

| Three years ago we (me and the wife) were tempted by an ad for a house for sale at Governors beach. "just outside Limassol" it read. Luckily we knew the area! 22km is not "just outside". |

| Try Baby Beach on Hydra island. By custom all sound machines are outlawed, dress is optional, nearby bar has cold beers, boats ferry to and from Hydra town every minute or so, which means no walking. But BEST of all, no cars are allowed in Hydra island. So there, eat your hearts out! |
