On all other sites and discussion based forums the moderators role is to moderate and keep a happy meduim.On this site one moderator seems to have another agenda.A moderator should also behave responsibly cutting out bad language and refrain from using himself.
Children younger than thirteen can access this site,we should be behaving in a manner that does not offend.I am sure the sponsors of the site would not want to be associated with some of the language used. |

A moderator should be impartial when moderating, not when he expresses his own opinion. Besides I believe Piratis is the moderator of a section totally irrelevant to the Cyprus problem. A forum can be tolerant or intolerant to bad language, this one is indeed loosely moderated, but neither side is favoured |

Purdey stop being a prude .... 
Children are the responsibility of their parents and should not be left unsupervised whilst on the Internet ... so the contents of this forum, although preferably exhibiting decorum as much as possible, should not be filtered for the consumption of minors.
Besides, children should not have to witness such bad grammar (" .... an agenda...", purdey ... not ".... a agenda.... ", please) and spelling, posted as passable by forumers.  |

| Purdey there is another Cyprus site that, in my opinion, has been over moderated. The result is that judging by the number of posts it is slowly dying. Cypriots like to argue and scream at each other, it's better than fighting. I do believe, however,there are too many racists, bigots and pompous pillocks who post the same divisive crap on this site every day - it's best to ignore them or take the piss if you feel so inclined |
