I suppose that I could go on repeating 'how many GCs have been killed since the gates opened' as some people do on this forum when they go unanswered, but this is a boring thread.

You say that our isolation is self imposed. I say that you do your best at every opportunity to make sure that our isolation is as complete as it can be.

The world can judge from the UN resolutions that you (and really only you) keep quoting, the recent howls of protests at the Syria ferry, ministers being sent off to 'explain matters' every time that it looks like there may be a direct flight from somewhere, passing a unique law that makes Famagusta Port a crime in RoC and then trying to fool the world into believing it is an international law ....

You may have good reasons for wanting to isolate TRNC, but to say that you don't do all you can to make it as isolated as possible is a silly pretense.

In fact it is so silly, this is my final comment on this thread.

If you mean we do our outmost to make sure that every tom dick and harry can't find a field somewhere and put a kiosk and an airport sign and call it an international airport on the island then yes we do our best.
If you mean that we insist on sporting events to happen through the CFA which is the only member of FIFA and UEFA then yes we do.
If you mean that we've made every possible offer to you to facilitate trade through the green line and your exports to the world in cooperation with the TC chamber of commerce then yes we have.
If you mean we've offered to jointly administer the Famagusta port in exchange for your "ace in the hole" Varosha poker chip then we have also done that.

Why don't you tell me why you won't return the ghost town to its people in exchange for joint trade in the Famagusta port?

Who's blackmailing who by holding an entire town at ransom?

Because Papadopoulous would then renege, saying: "We got back what is already ours so why reward a thief?" Sounds similar to the double-dealing the UK did to Rhodesia which caused its UDI in '65. Papadopolous is a slimy olive-oil stiking politician without any sincerity.

Observer, I would appreciate an answer.
