The folks in Louisianna have been "drilled" quite substantially lately. You have to wonder what kind of thought process is involved in deciding to live below seal level in a hurricane zone, though.
This said, I listened to Palin's schtick for about a minute and turned away because A) I have an extreme dislike for "PTA moms," B) her lisp (perhaps I'm using "lisp" incorrectly - I mean the way she annunciates S's) makes my skin crawl and C) I don't expect reason from a gun-toting, shit-kicking fool that stated the difference between herself and a dog is lipstick. |
Can you believe this? And we're supposed to be impressed.  |

It really was a WHITE trash Convention Filitsa. I watched segments of it on different days (recorded) and in all that time, I think I saw 3 non white faces in the crowd. 2 of them may have been part of the security detail for all I know. I had to put on my sunglasses not to get a burn from all that white skin and white hair.!

Didn't Cindy McCain trot out a black during lady during her speech? This is probably the third non-white face you mentioned (and, yes, probably the only 3 people with non-white hair).
The whole rock-star think with Palin will run its course and the novelty will wear thin soon. I agree with you - Obama is most likely to win this one. My gut instinct, anyway.
Any case, if you're in a betting mood:
$50 says McCain often has to pee during the night...
$75 says he doesn't necessarily wake up first each time...

| Actually, I was talking about an African lady from some war-torn country that Cin-dee made an example of during her speech. I suppose that we're now up to 4 non-white people now. The number of non-geriatric white people is still anyone's guess though. |

i saw on the news today this manchester guy was on tv saying how everyone in america who says america does notneed a black president is racist and that you cant be racist because you let that retard cowboy man in office for 8 years.. he said on tv  .. does everyone hate bush and glad to see him gone? maybe have a president that will fix america not like bush who took america to hell...
or am i wrong? |

You are probably talking about Russell Brand presenting the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards yesterday. He is outrageously funny, specially picking on Bush and the Republicans. He'll probably end up on "US terrorist no fly list" after last nights insults to Bush, so that he won't be able to fly back to the US again once he leaves.! |
