I stayed in in Four Seasons quite a few years back and it's a beautiful hotel, just make sure you get a room with sea view as the rooms at the back look over the road. The beach is tiny and not nice and the surrounding area isn't impressive either. Personally I'd much rather go for a not so nice hotel in a much nicer area as I tend to go on holidays to see places and not to stay in the hotel...

Even the sea views are crap, I do not like looking at oil tankers moored 2000 metres offshore. The beach, what beach, four days ago it was full of fag ends and rubbish !!!!!

I've heard coral bay is nice so might look for somewhere around there. Staying in a villa is an option too.

I agree with both comments Raymanoff..however if you are in Limassol try the Curium Palace, not 5* but quaint and quiet even though it is near the Curium roundabout.

And I presume you two hospitality experts have stayed in all the hotels and can make such a claim.

Actually I have stayed in all the 5* hotels in Cyprus. The best one is the Anassa at Latchi, but it does lack atmosphere.
Forgot to say, next door was the welsh sex symbol Tom Jones.

I agree, there are no 5* hotels in Cyprus. Anyone who has stayed in one of them and a UK 5* will confirm this. 5* here seems equivalent to a good 3* in the UK.
