Ice queen, I agree with you about the overuse of A/C units, but let's face it, just about everyone on this island uses them - if not in the house in their vehicles!
We do try to get along with windows open and ceiling fans etc, but during the height of a Cyprus summer you really do need that A/C - we do not go the whole hog of 16 degrees like some though (Have I exonerated myself?!)
