Hi guys

This summer Webbo and myself hope to go over to the North side of the island for a few days.

My friend very kindly brought us a hotel guide from the Tourist information, but there are so many to chose from!!!!

We hope to stay in Kyrenia (went over on a day trip there a few years back and loved it) so we will probably go back there and do a bit exploration round about.

Can you advise re the best hotel to stay in please? (Is it in the guide?) We would probably just want bed and breakfast as we do not want to be tied down to the hotel for meals owing to our 'exploration needs' Laughing

Thanks in advance

I can recommend Hotel PİA BELLA at Kyrenia

http://www.piabella.com/

When you are planning ?

Teshekur? (very phonetic!) halil, that too is in the guide!

No idea when we will come over, sorry! Knowing us it will be a last minute thing!!

Hey guys

I have just found some old Turkish money (from our last trip?)

Do you still use the million lira notes now or are they obsolete? Also found some coins - probably from the same era (4 or 5 years ago now!). Will I be able to spend them please?

Thanks for all your help

Cheers Tess. Thankfully only found the one, though have also found a 500 note, a couple of 20 lira notes and a 100 lira note - the 100 lira note looks really old and grubby! Can I use any of these please or should I just put them in the box at the airport nest time I go home? Thanks
