Is life about the 9 - 5 thing, or is there more? Does happiness come in a plasma TV?

On a serious note, the escalating price of rice is a real issue, given that it is the staple diet of many of the poorest nations.

Sorry, if I confused you, Pantherman; my 'freeform' post was about my concern that the English language, arguably the richest in the world, given that it has taken words from the Greek, Latin, French, German as well as from the old British Empire, is being tarnished. Attacked by txt-speak, Email abbreviations and decling educational standards.

OK, I accept that my subsequent comment about the cost of Rolexes was a 'non sequitur' but I am also worried for my rich friends Wink 'Precious metal' Rolexes went up 20% in March and are due to rise another 12% this month; it will be Mercedes and Porches next - I can forsee an Upper Class revolution - he Working Class will be put to the Sword.

Now time for a little lie down!
