I hate chinese food but there is a place in Kyrenia called "Mr Chun" . I don't know of any chinese resturants in North Nicosia. There are a few in Kyrenia and nowhere else as far as I know. If you read the weekly "Cyprus Today" there are always ad's for resturants in them, I suggest you read it anyway I prefer reading it to "Kıbrıs". I just wish it was a daily.
P.S : You cannot get bored of kebabs . |

| halil maybe you could give us some advice on our almond tree. it hadn't been pruned by previous owner for at least ten years. gave it a good cutting in the winter and now seems to be doing well. will the nuts be better now or should we just forget it and cut it down and re plant? |

| Almond trees will always produce fruit no matter how hard you prune. They are a beast to kill. Keep away from house footings they spread to any moisture. |

The bitter fruit will not change however much you prune. These bitter almonds contain Hydrocyanic acid, akin to Cyanide hence the bitterness. It is from these bitter almonds that the Cypriot Almond Macun/sweet (marzipan) is made. On boiling the Hydrocyanic acid will breakdown giving the marzipan its characteristic flavour. If you manage to eat too many you are dead. But because of the bitterness it is most unlikely.
