With respect DT, this guy is standing up for himself. He may be a lone voice but he has the energy and guts to be outspoken.
I have demonstrated in London, once for recognition of Gulf War syndrome and once against the banning of fox hunting.
If you have an issue with whoever and you cannot get a resolution from the appropriate authourities, DEMONSTRATE.
Up the revolution, power to the people...

Come on DT that is how it works. People demonstrate when heads of state visit,I thought that was the whole point of getting noticed.
Another alternative is to hire a suite next to the President at the Dorchester and invite him round for afternoon tea.

Yeah Purdey they demonstrate to free Tibet or to free POW's or to write off 100 trillion in African debt. You don't demonstrate at a head of state cause one guy got conned by a developer. Rolling Eyes

There are lots of people being conned in Cyprus DT sadly most just accept it as they come up against a brick wall or threats when trying to get something done about it .

Conner is one person that won't give up no matter how many threats he receives or been actually been beaten up ~ you could say the developer in question has met his match.

I would really like to see Connors plight sorted out but the developing game is so well connected that to be honest I can't see it happening ~ it's a very corrupt business within Cyprus and as a priority something needs to be done soon.

I wish Conner luck as he certainly needs it to shake up the "system" in Cyprus.

Bill

I coudn't agree with you more on some of the bad appls in the development business. My point is what good will complaining to a head of state do when he is visiting another country????

Come and camp out outside the presidential palace in nicosia if you like, you still won't get anywhere.

I would not worry too much about Boris, Conor. Apparently he has entered the wrong offices of his new post on two occassions now.
He maybe a likeable intelligent chap but he has the common sense of a dead fish.

There is little to be gained from shouting at the President of Cyprus. Maybe just maybe some keen journalist might just put two and two together and recognise this guys plight...

Hi there to all who are contributing to this thread.

Conor will not be shouting at the President, merely drawing his attention to both his plight and others in dire situations over here.

Conor, is speaking for so many of us, needs our support, has been through so much, has abided by the laws of the land, has been misrepresented by so many, his case is one of very many going through the system at present.

I beg to differ that there are no lawyers over here willing to take on another. I know because i have one and believe me he is doing his level best to stamp out the corruption in the legal profession. He feels passionately that what has happened to us must never happen to anyone else.

Things are changing here but oh so slowly and hopefully one day there will be no need for threads like this one on any forum.

Conor, we support you wholeheartedly, are with you 100% as are the Greek press and other media modes.

Good luck and a massive pat on the back to you and the family

Hi All,

I'm pleased this story was covered in the Cyprus Mail on Saturday.

I’ve just finished a new YouTube regarding this event.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AIwM0pCiq9w

I have released letters today on my website that were previously sent to the Attorney General. There is also a letter I sent to the High Commissioner of the Republic of Cyprus (London) and all Cypriot desks at foreign offices etc...

Thanks, to all those who have already confirmed for Sunday. Many are coming for their own property rights.

I have to update the thread concerning my last assault soon. AGAIN the local authorities are up to tricks. The hospital tests were back on Friday showing Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV). I have been reassured that the ABH will be brought back to GBH (and the robbery charge) but I have heard these assurances before and that’s why I’ll be front and centre at the weekend.

I’m really pressing the MEP’s and the media this week. We are making progress.

Kind Regards
Conor.
BAD LAWYERES....
