I recently got married, and the avarage from close friends was about 50 pounds (just under 90 euro's). Cousin's gave about 100 pounds and up, aunts and uncles gave about 200 and up.

I did have a friend who gave us 20 pounds, as that's all they could afford.

What is a decent amount (in euros) to give as a wedding gift to a close friend? I don't want to look "cheap", and i don't want to overwhelm, but i do want to make a decent, slightly above normal gift.
thanks,
GG
