I find this business of ROC taking Turkish army on very childish...They have the power to annihilate you over night...Don't ever give them the excuse to do so..
Thank god your leaders are not as stupid as you lot and attempt such a foolish suicide... |
Thats what nationalist Turks like to think so they can sleep better at night. Couple of facts for ya...
Turkey never released a death toll for their military invasion in 1974. The Cypriot guard was basically a militia...which gave Turkey lots of trouble (even though its common knowledge that the Cypriot Guard had much of their own weapons unavailable to them) until Turkey brought on their Air Force. Now with it being a few years down the line and Cyprus is a lot more prepared with the weapons it has at its disoposal, I find it funny that brain washed Turks think their military is still like a bunch of super heros lol. They have only really fought militias over the last 50 years and they have given them lots of trouble. |

I'm quite sure that kicking around in the NATO archives there is just such a planned response for this scenario.
You won't like it.

Iceman, which weapon in Turkey's inventory has such a capability? |
Their mentality... |
Not good enough. You're propagating misinformation because Turkey has nothing of the sort I assure you.
It's a common TC tactic to try and scare GCs into submission so that their illegal hold on the occupied areas is preserved.
Turkey has what is called a “conventional army” Iceman, so there no frills other than large numbers, most of which will be busy elsewhere…my estimates is that Turkey will not be prepared to assign/expend more than 60,000 for the “TRNC”. |
I am NOT trying to scare you or anyone else GR....Don't think you know more than me about Turkish army or their way of thinking...
You are only assuming,so don't you ever forget what they say about assumptions!!

| I agree with you Miltiades. I think on a Pro-rata basis, the United Kingdom's Armed Forces are the best in the world. |

Iceman, I'm getting tired of this…"their way of thinking" crap. I don't doubt that they may be subject to dilutions that they are a "superpower" but that's not regarded a military advantage. |
