I'll chip in €0.50 to buy you a caps lock key if it helps?

I am offering you a telephone card to call the police. Wink

This is a serious matter not a joke, there is a warrant out for his arrest hence the reason I need to find him.The reward is genuine.

Seriously, if he is in the "TRNC" you don't have much chance to find him. Otherwise Interpol should be able to reach him. Good luck.

Thats BS, if he is in the TRNC you can find him, you just need to know who to ask. Finding him wouldnt be hard getting back to the south would be

What is the Police exactly investigating ?

If it is a case of fraud, then they can apply for a European warrant for his arrest through Euro-pol on certain conditions.

He will get picked up at any port he is found within the EU and sent back to Cyprus for trail.

Now if its a case of civil proceedings... then that's a different story.

Sorry

He bought my Bar from me in Paphos. When it came to the final payment of 80,000.00 cyp. I received his cheque but by the time the bank in UK informed me that it had been stopped he had already sold the bar on. When he failed to appear in court an arrest warrant was issued and there has been a further 4 dates. My lawyer and the courts do not seem to be doing anything now.I have asked for an order to be issued to his banks to disclose his current address also to his own lawyer to no avail. There is a lot more to this.

putting a stop on a cheque for a legitimate payment is a criminal offence here in Cyprus.

I can’t for the life of me understand why you surrendered the premises without even knowing if such a large cheque would clear! Being handed a cheque means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING until it converts into tangible cash.
