You would only need line of sight between any one connected area / customer and any other connected area / customer not from everywhere to a central point - if you see what I mean? I'll try and explain that a bit clearer. If you have sites A, B and C and site A does not have line of sight to site C but does site B does have line of sight to both A and C then you are ok. If however C has no line of sight to anywhere else that is connected then you have a problem. You could look at a solution that does not need line of sight to connect C but these will invariably be more expensive that if it does have line of sight (to any other connected area). Hope that makes sense?
