What civlization did they introduce????? EOKA Freedom Fighters taught them a lesson! You go down to a small village in our beloved homeland and you will see the old men outside kafenei smoking with their Greek Coffee and playing the Tavli. All the xeni english say they have culture???????? What culture is going to 'pub' and getting drunk and fighting???

Also I see people doing worse things on here? Why do some say that Annan plan was a good thing??? It was a terrible thing! The British and Americans have always been anti greek and greeks need to know this!

We know the english full well, murderers in serbia and iraq and that is just the last 6 years!

Hi Nick the Greek

Well unfortunately EOKA gave Greek Cypriots more of a lesson than the British, in that they killed more GC than Brits. But let's not dwell in the past Nick, lots of water (and blood) have gone under the Bridge since then.

I fear if you cannot recognise the culture and civilisation that Britain brought to the world, you have missed a great deal.

I guess you should change your sig to NicktheSick, because, if you are not that, then you are a troll (which almost amounts to the same thing).

May I ask what age you are?

Mind you, I'm surprised that you use a foreign language to post in, especially one that comes from such a cultureless and decadent race as the English.

Please be calm and express your views clearly, without ranting, and we may be able to reply sensibly. Up to now, I have seen only meaningless ravings and, if you continue in that vein, I fear that the moderators may decide to step in.

Nick the Greek, you are very much mistaken with your generalisation that English "Xeni" don't know anything.

Are you from the villages where you don't come to the big towns?
Do you believe the a womans place is in the kitchen?
Do you believe that the man is the breadwinner?
Are you one of those people that treats everyone other than Cypriots without any respect?
Are you one of those people that throws big rocks at cats and keeps the dogs locked up in a cage which is no bigger than 2 metres by 2 metres?

I'm a British Born Cypriot and came to the Island to live last August. Whether you like it or not, if the Brits stopped coming to the Island, how many hotels would be worth keeping open? How many of the bars and restaurants would remain in business? All that would remain here is the dirty old man going to the cabaret to exploit the Eastern European girls being forced into working in these seedy places.

You obviously know what the Island is like out of the tourist season. Its pretty boring with hardy anything open other than the coffee shops.

How old are you Nick? it sounds like you are a very bitter and twisted person.

kyrenia, not a 'village'.

Do you believe the a womans place is in the kitchen?

yes, unless of extreme financial burden, because women should not have to work.

Do you believe that the man is the breadwinner?

yes

Are you one of those people that treats everyone other than Cypriots without any respect?

sometimes, i have english friends but most of my friends are hellenes because we have to stick together and keep the money going around in a circle because this is why we are successful in britain. also my dad says we are the most cultured people. I agree with him.

Are you one of those people that throws big rocks at cats and keeps the dogs locked up in a cage which is no bigger than 2 metres by 2 metres?

no
