My sentiments exactly.

All troops out. The only troops on the island should be those of the CNG comprising Cypriot (GC and TC) troops. This force should be defensive in posture and it's main vital role should be border protection.

Muzzy you are so not in keeping with the times  ... (other than rightfully panicking  ) ...

"Communities" is out!... we have been one-man one-vote for too long and it's good. A properrly established multicultural society of Armenians, Greeks, British, GC, Maronites, etc ... we no longer want "two communities" divisively running the country. Everyone (legal) can integrate into the RoC and join in under the Democratic EU banner ...

Stop tarnishing us with your racist backward divisions ....

i think cyprus should have its own army consisting of gc and tc. but i can't see the british giving you the land back. mind you the uk goverment is always short of cash and gordon brown needs to make up the short fall in his accounting, maybe nows a good time to make them a cash offer.

It is precisely a disaster we are trying to avoid by not accepting Greek or Turkish troops on the island or their false guarantees.

If security is your concern then you should be content with a small but efficient Cypriot National Guard that includes TC troops and officers within it's ranks. But I guess your motives for insisting in a Treaty of Guarantee from Turkey (an unstable country under threat of Islamic fundamentalism) is well understood by us.

Can you please make me a coffee just like GR taught you back in the days of the ATCA forum. White with 2 sugars thanks.

Do not be so hard on your self. The next time you post a new thread as ridiculous as this one, you should consider posting it in the Jokes and Enigma section.

Your recommendations and thoughts belong to a fantasy land. And the mere fact that you incinuated that Cypriots, TCs and GCs, can ask Britain to relinquish it's bases, indicates your ineptitude of being able to comprehend some very powerful realities and the vital strategic importance of those bases within the Middle East. Thanks for the laughs.

I think you should stick to making coffee, just like GR taught you.

But it is simle dear Copper. My suggestion is rational and feasible. What's your problem with it ?

Your suggestion is bollocks because Cyprus ALREADY has a modern and well-equipped National Guard more than capable of making any trigger-happy neighbor think TWICE, this time round before invading.

Btw, stick to making coffee like Paphitis reminds because I don't recall giving you a promotion...

What an idiot he is. Suggesting that Cypriots will be able to ask Britain to relinquish it's bases and them obliging to this request is rediculous.

Some people should confine their talents to making coffee, and in Muzzy's case extra care should be taken so as to not burn himself.

Only one thing is clear to me. That is if a virgin birth does materialise, then the 1959 Zurich agreement which provides Britain and US with 2 vital strategic assets will be null and void.

What do you think the Brits and US will think about that? This is going to destroy the virgin birth idea of 2 politically equal states uniting as 2 component states to form a Confederacy dead in it's tracks.
