| no info of time of start, empty stadium, 2 and half hours of waiting listening to cheer up non-professional lebanese lady and greek team reminding a funeral. during the time we were watching ppl playing cards, chatting, drinking..at least we got SR but we were completely tired by that. thx to boys bringing us beers and snacks lol. So the crap coasted min 92Eu .i'd'd prefer to spend 100 eu in a fancy restaurant listening to them on radio |

Simply Red were great though! Worth the wait although the Greek band was dire!
Can't say I've ever particularly liked Simply Red but it was really good. |

My son wouldn't let me go to see them
Still, their stuff is too smoochy to be interesting for too long live.
The greatest live musician ever, has got to be The Boss |

Never thought of you as a Springsteen fan O!
I went to see him perform a 'few' year back. ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!
Would not give one euro cent to see Simply Red!

Hubby and I went to all his UK concerts (mostly '80's) .... even cut a holiday to Cyprus short one summer to go back to see him (at Leeds I think it was ).
They were phenomenal and his stamina incredible (I'm sure they went on for about 4 hours .... bit of a blur now ).
But the worst concert I ever went to was Simon and Garfunkel when they re-united briefly ... they were so bored and disengaged ... Love their music though.
Did you ever catch a Queen concert? .... they've got to be second to Bruce! |

Alas, never saw Queen live but wish I had! Same goes for the Stones!
Always love seeing Roxy Music live, but I think Bryan Ferry has a lot to do with that!
Worst concert was probably Sting when he performed here in Cyprus a few years ago. So disappointing, but at least I will know not to go again!
Did go to an 'All Stars' concert in Larnaca about 3 years ago. That was spectacular - had several stars from yesteryear - Roger Taylor (so I have seen a bit of Queen!), Fish, Midge Ure, Paul Young and Chris Thompson plus a few others. Midge Ure was only on island for the concert as I think the 'Live 8' concerts were about to kick off back home.
All were very good but Chris Thompson (who I had never heard of - he was a singer with Manfred Mann) was sensational!
Hope that whoever organised it would organise another one - but in Limassol please!
