I predict 1-0 Greece to win. Smile I hope Charisteas can still score. He didn't score much since 2004. Sad I don't like the GEEKas guy. I hope he doesn't start tonight. Razz

If you don't like the top Bundesliga scorer you'll like his goals instead.

The reason I don't like him is because he doesn't play passionately with the greek shirt. In 25 caps he scored only 6 goals since 2005 (3 of them against Malta Laughing ), one against Bosnia, Hungary, Spain (friendly)! Mad

CHaristeas scored 18 in 62 caps. That makes his ratio .29 per game as oppossed to .24 for Gekas. Not a massive difference.

I hope Greece wins, because no one seems to respect them! They are the Champions, but sport's pundit's & commentator's are still calling them underdogs!(what do you have to do to be respected?!!!) So it would be nice to see Greece prove them wrong, but if Ibrahimovic & Larson are on form, it can be very difficult for the Greek's.
Looking forward to it.

Dellas and Kyrgakos need to be on top form today. The 2 giants are going to be the busiest players on the pitch trying to hold back Imbrahimovich and Larson.

My suspicion is that any Swedish goals will come from set-pieces.

Halil, you are slipping. You should have missed the first 'off-side' goal, not the third one. Laughing

UEFA supports Dutch goal decision

UEFA has emphasised that the goal scored by Netherlands striker Ruud van Nistelrooy in last night's UEFA EURO 2008™ match against Italy in Berne was valid, and that referee Peter Fröjdfeldt acted correctly in awarding the goal.
God help us.
