Where is GR! ...?
He was the lifeline of this forum. He questioned the real value of Democracy. Prepared to pay a membership fee for the right to speak his mind.
I have only recently come to realise that Cyprus Forum is above all else .. just another money making Capitalist venture ... in the guise of a free-speaking questioning, Cyprus Problem solution seeking forum. 
Nope. 
It is just another Company .. with a Capital C.
And not "C" for Cyprus...
Duped ... yes I was ... Cyprus Forum ... you owe me and Get Real! BIG TIME ... I really thought Cyprus was at the forefront of this forum ... but no ....... you kow tow to Turks and Brits ... and their wanton lifestyles!
Make your mind up ... are you for Cyprus or just screwing Cyprus for some advertising revenue ... because I only have time for Cyprus!
I suspected Cyprus Forum was fast becoming Cyprus Living ... but now I guess I feel it has sunk even lower ... it pretends to be high-brow ... but it does not know how to keep its intelligent questioning forumers happy ....
Cyprus Forum ... what do you want to be ... at the forefront of intelligentsia .... questioning free-thinking ... or a life-style magazine (of which there are plenty ...)
Shame on you for using Cyprus and its Problems to line your pockets .... |

Oracle, the forum is not making any profits. The minimal ads don't even cover the costs of the server let alone the many hours I have to put every day to deal with spammers and disputes. Still, I never claimed that the forum is a charity organization. The name is Cyprus-Forum.com, .com stands for commercial.
This is a Cyprus Forum, and not just a "Cyprus Problem Forum". The Cyprus Problem is just one part of the forum but this is something you didn't want to understand.
In this forum I am trying to allow the maximum of free speech possible and even very extreme positions are allowed to be voiced here. What I asked from you is not to stop expressing your opinion but to stop constantly provoking and annoying certain groups of people. This is something I asked you many times and I was very patient with you.
The account of Get Real was suspended for a few days for reasons I explained to him in detail.
If you want to continue posting here you have to accept that having a diversity of people and opinions is an aim of this forum. Take an obligatory break for two weeks. Until then you can think about it and decide if you want to continue participating in the forum or not. |
