EXERCISING MY 'FREE SPEECH'

Postby SSBubbles » Sun Jun 22, 2008 5:27 pm

Surely they will both just 'sign on' under different names.............. Confused

Don't you have another lame joke to post?

The GAME thread is also very busy and Deniz will surely be missing you.

Please refrain from polluting this very serious thread with your absurdities. Now bugger of unless you want to be useful and give me some advice about my swimming pool.

A Typical example of a rude and uneccesary response to a legitimate question.

It was not a legitimate question but a post intended to rub salt in the wounds to all those that have been wrongfully silenced and therefore it deserved to be dealt with in the way it was.

I also remind you to refrain from polluting this very serious thread on free speech.

Now buzz off to the GAME thread.

I exercise my right to 'FREE SPEECH' and hark at you DEAR PAPHITIS! Has someone stolen your dummy?

(Thanks Jerry - I would have responded early but I have been out)

It was not a question - rather a statement - and I am sure that GR and O could/would use this option if they so desired (if they have not already)

You Paphitis were way off the mark as there was no malice in my post - you just took it that way and are using it as an excuse to be rude and vulgar.

If you need any help finding your dummy - just ask - we can be a helpful lot you know!

Right, must get back to the GAME's thread
BTW, as it is often quoted on this Forum, 'If you don't like it, b*g*e* off'!!

Sorry if this post has left you confused!

I could not reply to Paphitis as the thread 'Persecution is a tribute' is locked! If you read this thread, my post will then become clear - I hope!

Neither could I reply to Paphitis "tribute " to his fallen idols .
Lets see how he copes on his own , he already has employed O's avatar to help and guide him in his mission of search and expose Cypriot traitors !!

This is not about 'tributes to fallen idols'

This is about the right of every forumer to exercise their right to free speech.

As I have said on a previous post if all the persons on forum who have sworn or abused others were banned then we would not have many members left

I always have found Oracles and GRs post at the very least thought provoking (as I have yours also) and for this reason I will miss their hopefully short absense from forum and look forward to welcoming them back.

Paphitis is not alone

I hear what you are saying Richard, and while I applaud some of the efforts by Paphitis and others, I do not think that Paphitis would be quite so vociferous for anyone else? Do you?

Bottom line is that Admin have the final say and GR and O are now banned (like others in the past and no doubt in the future!) for however long and they (and us) will just have to accept that

I have every faith that they will return, just be patient!

The CF is a private company , the owners have every right to ban anyone that insults directly their organization , comments and insults against Lana were out of order and commenting on the company's financial affairs irresponsible.
The forum would be rather boring and many of us would stay away no doubt if controversial contributors were not permitted to voice their opinions , sometimes in vociferous and questionable terms but that is what makes a forum interesting.
As a result of the two bans and in view of the fact that some see me as partly responsible , I would like to state here that I'm aware that Admin is keeping a very close watch on what I post , since I consider the forum to be in a way an extended part of my work here in London , I shall place restrictions on my self expressions trying not at the same time to remove all elements that contribute to an interesting debate.

Obviously I cannot speak for paphitis but imho I believe he would ,just as I believe that Oracle and GR would fight in defence of any member giving their honest opinion whether they agreed with it or not. And I include TCs, GCs, BCs uncle tom cobley and all in this equation.

And without bringing up an old chestnut that has already been discussed in other areas of the forum . Without these more extrovert and some might say controversal charachters on forum then we could end up discussing the price of beans in Pafos and the best place to find a willing goat etc ...Heaven forbid
