Strangely enough, there seems to have been an increase of new members on Cyprus Living forum who have appeared just recently and who all suddenly seem to have fallen onto Cyprus Living Smile.

One assumes they are those who have been temporarily banned from C-F and no doubt will return very shortly.

I would suggest that the political threads are kept just to that part of the forum and if forum members continually hijack threads and turn every questions or statement into a political debate should be warned no more than twice. If they cannot abide by the rules of the forum, then - block their account and ISP from opening a new one.

I'm fed up of reading what seems like a straightforward question only to find that half way through it's turned into another political argument or direct slanging match between the usual suspects.

The new members on Cyprus Living have been clearly warned that any such behaviour will NOT be tolerated.

I think a few CF members have joined CL this week because they became aware of it because of a link to it in a thread here.

As I understand it Oracle had used a succession of sequential Accounts, but all are now closed and she has not appeared under any other name.

CL has been mentioned on a number of postings previously (I've mentioned it in postings too for those unfortunate individuals who've stumbled on CF and who've been treated with rudeness and disrespect from some of these banned members) so don't be taken in by the clap trap they write about only just coming across the site...

CL is a Paphos based forum and mostly an ex-pat or people planning on moving to Cyprus from UK. It offers help and advice as well as a general section about living life in Cyprus.

The new members are just out to cause trouble until their ban expires and threads have already been locked there too. They won't get away with even half of what they spout here Smile
