| I became one accidentally. I visited a Palestinian friend when he put on one familiar tune. I said 'how come you play Turkish music'. That is when I discovered the Rahbani Brothers. Its a pity he has gone as his sons music, though good, not as beautiful - traditional - as I would like. 'Al Busta' is fine though. That time is when I realised that Rahbani music was so popular in Turkey. I am from Cyprus though - resident in the UK. |
