Gavcar,
Please, please, please, please, please stop posting all this stuff about the Ottoman Empire in this thread. If you really want to talk about them then just create your own thread and I'm sure lots of people will be happy to come and discuss them with you.
Also, you don't need to post the actual YouTube video, a link will be fine.
Thank you. |
about fcreating new one will be fine. but youtube u cant decide !!!
u cant handle the truths |
I only mention the YouTube thing because it causes problems for some people's computers and it would be a terrible shame if they were to miss out. That's all.
Also, I can assure you that my truth handling abilities are second to none and I look forward to viewing all the interesting material you have about the Ottoman Empire.
Thank you very much.

You are whoever/whatever you want to be
Bottom line is this;
What are you trying to achieve? Loyalty to one country or for someone to tell you once and for all which head to put on in the mornings?

I'm just trying to spark up some debate about the whole 'nationality' issue. I've seen a few comments on here where people say 'this is what makes a Cypriot', but I wonder if everyone agrees that it's all determined by one thing or another.
Some people have said it just depends on where you were born. Others say it depends on who you feel associated with. Does a piece of paper tell me what I am or do my parents or other people tell me?
I'm just using myself as a focal point, but others have posted their own situations in the thread too. It's all good for passing the time and it's a pretty civilised topic too |

Hi Magnus,
You are an ethnic Greek Cypriot and a legal British national. In other words, your ethnicity is Greek Cypriot and the nation from where you hail, where you were born and raised and have since claim legal residency, is Great Britain. |

| Can I change my vote? After examining all the evidence carefully I came to the conclusion that Magnus is half Chinese and 2/3rds Mexican! |

That's bad math.
1/2 + 2/3 > 1
What were you doing in your math classes sotos? You should be spanked. |
