Horror - (not into horror that much) Was made to watch Nightmare on Elm Street when I was 5 and gave me nightmares for two years...along with the stories my yiayia told my sister about doing a oiger board.

Sci-Fi - Star Wars

Comdey - Trading Places, Coming To America, Bachelor Party.

Gangster - Goodfellas ( I know it sounds like the same old same old choice but it is truly the best gangster film ever)

War - dunno...dont watch many war films. Platoon maybe.

Sorry but I can't match films with categories. That's may be because I do not like classifications :) a bit post-modern approach. Oh no I DID classify this one! :D

To take a more "post modern approach" I would just have to say my 3 favorite movies of all time (in no particular order):

L'Auberge Espagnole (The Spanish Apartment)
Politiki Kouzina (A touch of spice)
Diarios de Motocicleta (the motorcycle diaries)
