How Cyprus gained access to the EU beggars belief!

Who wants eu anyway? have it , enjoy it who cares. we want free cyprus from eu . we dont want eu . eu wants us. . we have to go out

Are you mental?
EU membership is the best thing that ever happened to Cyprus!
in 2007 Cyprus contributed €10,000,000 to the EU coffers but received €170,000,000 in grants!!!!

Well I'm happy ~ I've now got pavements in my street ~ even though most people don't use them ( exept for parking ) it's a start in the right direction .

you think its all rosie with the e.u. wait till you pay more than you get in grants, then maybe you will change your mind.they will take you identity, tell you what you can and cannot do, cyprus would have been better off independently. you have already lost your pound. everyone on this forum moans day in day out about the other nations who have ruled cyprus in the past. you just sold out to the e.u, greed got you.

Are you sure you are from the UK.??

Has the public schooling really deteriorated that much in the UK, that when a sentence is written in English, it make no sence at all.??

What the hell are you trying to say in your post Zimbo.?? Confused Confused Confused

You can't spell so I won't waste time explaining 'dry humour' to you, moron

Good for you Zimbo!! Can i just ask why the majority of GC's hate animals so much?? What is wrong with these people?? How can they leave dogs caged up all day in the sweltering heat? They should be locked up and see how they like it!!

What are you babbling on about? I did not mention I was ecstatic to be in the EU. I do agree everyone moans on the forum though!

My prime concern is cruelty to animals, and yes, it happens everywhere. Whoope-bloody-doo! However, it is more prevalent in Cyprus as the majority of Cypriots still need to evolve and reach the 21st century, and take responsibility and be accountable for their actions, rather than spurting out ' if you don't like it go home, or 'oh but in UK, blah, blah blah'!! How immature and arrogant. Education, education, education! Laughing

Cheers! At last! I cannot understand their culture. Maybe being cruel makes them feel 'big'. A form of bullying I guess to compensate for their inadequacy. It's not just the GC's but TC's as well. :!

You will be berated now by the majority on this forum - just ignore it, they don't know any better. Rolling Eyes

Better to abuse animals than to go around the world and abuse human beings treating them like animals with no rights! And in the UK don't you butcher every day millions of defenseless animals to eat them, take their skin and make other products??? I am sure you do. So that makes you an animal abuser AND a hypocrite!! So what remains? The litter dumbing from cars? OK, nowhere is perfect. But I don't think that can cause any problem to EU. The drunken population of the UK going around Europe and winning and causing trouble is a much more serious issue for other EU countries. You are a good example of that Wink

So it's ok to abuse animals is it? You have taken my post out of context and why this 'UK' thing? It is not UK v Cyprus. And hey, you forgot to include the 'water' issue! Couldn't think of anything on that one then?
